Eulogy for a Dead King
Born in a small slave village at the bottom of Gruumsh Canyon everyday was a test of strength. The orcs used the men to mine deeper into the walls of the canyon, creating caves for the orcs to dwell in, the women suffered far worse fates, being used to breed more orcs and slaves. Jorell took it upon himself to escape and seek help from whomever may be on the outside of the canyon. Knowing nothing of the world outside the canyon Jorell made his escape leaving behind him a trail of blood. But when he reached the top there was a large fortress full of armored soldiers. Although Jorell thought they would aid him, they attempted to throw him back to the den of horrors from which he had just escaped. With axe in hand he made his way through these men and on to the largest town he could find.
When he told his story to the guards of Talipac they didn’t believe him, nothing is mean to escape the canyons afterall. But Being unable to ignore his plight any longer Torrid Casavir sent a platoon of warriors to deal with the orc menace and free the people of the canyon. Jorell insisted on joing the men in their crusade and after a long, grueling victory. Jorell became a permanent member of the Nashkell military and rose through the ranks to that of a General.
